Taxi Booking Center in Dubai offers non-stop services during Ramadan
Eisa Abdul Rahman Al Dosari, CEO of Public Transport Agency at Roads and Transport Authority (RTA), said that the Agency’s Booking & Despatch Center is offering day-and-night services during the holy month of Ramadan, by answering calls of all customers interested in booking taxicabs.
"During the holy month of Ramadan, we are always keen on leveraging the scale of our services to measure up with the aspirations of our customers who remain the prime focus of our attention. Thereby, we opted to continue running the services of the Booking & Despatch Center 24-hours a day, seven days a week (24/7), so that customers of taxicabs, namely: Dubai Taxi, Arabia Taxi, CARS, Metro Taxi, and National Taxi, can contact the Center any time without any change. They can also send short text messages to the number 4774 through the Dubai Metro stations," declared Al Dosari.
Al Dosari said that the role of the Booking & Despatch Center starts with answering customers’ telephone calls and ends with the arrival of the taxicab to the caller’s location within the Emirate of Dubai. “The Center also includes a cohort of competent employees who are highly skilled in communicating with customers; an essential ingredient of our business out of our belief that excellent attitudes can uplift the quality of performance,” he added.
"The Booking & Despatch Center receives approximately 15,000 public calls a day, and is manned by about 95 employees deployed on shifts basis, with 25 employees at a time,” said the CEO of RTA Public Transport Agency in a concluding remark.
