New Year Dubai

Get ready to experience a city-wide celebration to end the old year and invite the brand new year of 2014. With festivities taking place across the whole city, there's something for everyone on this momentous occasion.
Dubai is going to celebrate the end of a spectacular year by attempting to enter the Guinness Book of World Records for the largest Fireworks display in the world! There will be three prime locations that will hold official fireworks displays around Dubai.

| The Palm Jumeirah |
The Palm Jumeirah will be where the world record attempt will be made, with the fireworks spread over 99kms of the beachfront. To learn more about the world record attempt, click here. |
| The Burj Khalifa |
The Burj Khalifa will also be holding its own unique and incredible display of the fireworks. The best places to view this would be at the Burj Park, the Dubai Mall and at the Mohammad Bin Rashid Boulevard. Click here for more information. |
| Jumeirah Beach |
Do not forget to also catch the fireworks displays at the Jumeirah Beach which can be seen across the Burj Al Arab, Jumeirah Beach Hotel and the Madinat Jumeirah. |
| Dubai Festival City | The fireworks show at the Festival Marina will dazzle the crowds on New Year's Eve. It will be synchronized with the Light and Water Show at midnight. |
| Meydan |
To top it all off, the Meydan will be hosting its own New Year’s Eve celebrations with an Alice in Wonderland themed party called Unlock the Door to 2014. |
