FESTIVAL OF LIGHTS
A mystical experience awaits guests to the precinct as the Festival of Lights, which will be hosted along The Galleria’s Promenade every weekend from December 5th, 2013 until January 11th, 2014 starting 6PM, aims to offer guests an exceptional shopping and dining experience.
Guests will be enchanted by an intrinsic lighting installation which will illuminate all elements of the district. From stylishly lit palm trees and Majlis tents to a carefully crafted series of bejeweled butterflies, forest montages and snowflakes floating from the ceiling all complemented by external projections on the iconic Exchange Building, the precinct will truly transform into an adeptly glimmering destination for the season.
A spectacular carousel will form the centerpiece of the Festival of Lights. Bound to appeal to both old and young, childhood memories will be ignited as precious experiences are shared with the next generation.
Beautifully poised theatrical stations with an array of performers will enthrall and entertain guests as they undertake hourly performances. The fashionably styled entertainers roaming throughout The Galleria will include jugglers, a fire poiser, stilt walkers, acrobats, unicycling experts, living statues and clown.
Two unique digital drawing areas will also be installed outside the precinct where children will be able to sketch drawings onto a touchscreen device, which will be projected live onto a giant canvas screen.
