Al Marsam Al Hor
The Art Workshop offers specialised learning programmes and workshops supervised by expert teachers and professional artists for nominal fees with certificates accredited by the Ministry of Education.
Initiated by the TCA Abu Dhabi, the Art Workshop is the first in the Emirate to implement a long-term program to provide young talents and beginners with the required expertise and skills related to Graphic Arts and the various equivalent art types, styles and schools.
By promoting the creative and fine arts perception among all segments of society and build an arts nucleus of creative artists, the workshop endeavours to discover local talents, encourage participants to explore and enjoy a new world of arts, instil and build confidence through art & skills, and serve as a meeting platform for artists, regardless of their artistic styles or genres.
Courses
The Art Workshop offers courses and designs learning and specialised Graphic Arts programmes in the following genres:
- Painting and drawing basics
- Arabic calligraphy
- Photography
- Sculpture
- Ceramic arts
- Silk, cloth and glass painting
- Modern drawing and colouring techniques
