The Qasr al Hosn Festival, taking place in Abu Dhabi from 28th February to 9th March 2013, will be a national celebration of Emirati history on a truly unprecedented scale. Franco Dragone has been commissioned by the Tourism and Culture Authority, Abu Dhabi (TCA-AD) to create a unique show about Abu Dhabi’s rich historic past of more than 250 years through a specular artistic performance. The tickets for the eagerly awaited ’Story of a Fort, Legacy of a Nation’ show are on sale starting Midday on January 27th and can be accessed through the Festival’s webpage!

In addition to using an international cast filled with dancers, acrobats and gymnasts, Franco Dragone’s ’Story of a Fort, Legacy of a Nation’ will collaborate with a select group of Emirati talent to take part in this once in a lifetime showcase. Fusing culture and tradition with artistic disciplines, ’Story of a Fort, Legacy of a Nation’ is a rich visual poem celebrating over 250 years of Emirati history and offering an unforgettable combination of music, performance and special effects that will astound all who witness it.
Ticket prices for ’Story of a Fort, Legacy of a Nation’ will start at AED 250 and there are a number of packages available for thousands expected to descend on the 5600 square meter purpose built show tent. There will be 20 performances of ’Story of a Fort, Legacy of a Nation’ throughout the festival and given Franco Dragone’s creative flair, each show is likely to be packed with artistic twists and turns.
