Featuring Two Michelin Star International Masterchef Dani Garcia
The St. Regis Saadiyat Island Resort Abu Dhabi introduces Dani García to its signature venue – 55&5th, The Grill as part of Gourmet Abu Dhabi, commencing from Wednesday 6 February through to Saturday 9 February.
Chef García hails from Spain where he served as an apprentice to the famed Martín Berasategui, three years later he was representing Spain in the Gastronomic Contest of Santa Cruz. In 2000 Chef García received his first Michelin Star while a Tragabuches, this was the first of many awards received. After opening Restaurante Calima in 2005 he was awarded Best Chef of the Year - Spain, Chef L’Avenuir - Paris and the prestigious National Award of Gastronomy by the Royal Academy. 2010 saw García received his second Michelin Star. More recently García opened his second branch of Manzanilla in New York.
For four evenings Chef García will be showcasing culinary delights at 55&5th, The Grill with a selection of menus all individually priced as part of the annual festival showcasing tantalizing cuisine.
Showcasing will be a 4 course menu from AED 450, a 6 course menu from AED 650 and also an a’la carte option.
