Al Ain Zoo To Participate In The Dubai International Horse Fair
Zoo to share latest updates in conservation efforts and engaging activities
Al Ain Zoo announced today that it will be participating in the Dubai International Horse Fair 2013 (DIHF) to be held in the Dubai World Trade Centre from 21 to 23 March. The zoo’s participation reflects a shared commitment to preserve the UAE’s proud history, which includes the continued tradition of horse-riding just as it includes the diverse native wildlife species that are currently cared for at Al Ain Zoo.
Muna Al Dhaheri, Acting Chief Conservation and Education at Al Ain Zoo, commented:
"The UAE has a strong history in equestrianism, one that will be proudly showcased at DIHF 2013. Similarly, Al Ain Zoo pays tribute to the UAE’s rich natural heritage, particularly in the sphere of our country’s celebrated native species. We are proud to be a part of this year’s DIHF and look forward to welcoming visitors to our stand to learn about our conservation efforts, programmes, guided and self-guided tours, and other activities that provide our visitors with authentic learning experiences in the stimulating setting of Al Ain Zoo."
Mohamed Cheikh, Sales Manager at Al Ain Zoo, added:
“It is our tremendous honour to be part of this marvellous exhibition, and on this special occasion, our dedicated team will be on-site to tell visitors about the zoo’s various packages including that of the VIP services, birthday parties, corporate deals and school zoo education programs. A new Al Ain Zoo golf cart with VIP set up will be on display, and the team will also be sharing the latest entertainment and education activities, highlighting the recently announced Spring Safaris and allowing visitors to experience the specially choreographed bird show that takes place at Al Ain Zoo. People can also enjoy the birds pop-up experience at Al Ain Zoo stand.”
The exhibition will be open to visitors from 11am to 8pm, with the zoo’s corporate exhibition stand located in hall seven, stand C8. Al Ain Zoo, which is open daily from 9am to 8pm, is located on the UAE-Oman border and is a short drive from Dubai and the UAE’s capital, Abu Dhabi. With the majestic Jebel Hafeet and the rich expanse of Green Mubazzarah as its backdrop, Al Ain Zoo is one of the city’s leading attractions.
