Addressing the press conference, Jamal Al Sharif, Managing Director of Dubai Media City and Dubai Studio City, said: “We believe it is extremely important to bring together budding performers from across the region and encourage them to showcase their talent. The exposure will help them excel among a wider audience. The region has gained attention in the field of business and entertainment attracting multinationals to invest and work with professionals across the region. Events such as the GCC-wide competition will allow the youth to benefit from the growing opportunity that the region holds.
“As part of the Emirates International Peace Music Festival, the competition provides an edge to these musicians. The festival will deliver an international platform to these virtuosos to display their talent among world renowned artists.”

Engaging them in music education and offering visibility to international audiences and cultures will further inculcate and hone their talent. Playing at an orchestra is a natural step forward for the young musicians given the opportunity that the platform offers for displaying and growing their talent on a global level.”
