Marks & Spencer Al-Futtaim Opens New Cafe In Its Flagship Dubai Festival City Store
159 square metre cafe serves M&S Fairtrade barista coffee and tea, M&S food products, freshly-baked goods, and offers a loyalty card scheme
Marks & Spencer Al-Futtaim has announced that its new cafe in its Dubai Festival City (DFC) store is now open.
Located on the ground floor of the store, the 159 square metre cafe offers a convenient place for M&S customers and DFC visitors to enjoy delicious food and refreshing drinks. The long opening hours of the cafe reflect those of the DFC mall and offices – 8:30am to 9pm Sunday to Wednesday, 8:30am to 11:30pm on Thursday, and 10am to 11:30pm Friday and Saturday.
The tea and coffee is supplied by M&S, and is Fairtrade certified, guaranteeing that farmers are paid a fair price for their crop. M&S was the first major retailer in the UK to switch all its tea and coffee to Fairtrade, back in 2006, and continues to strengthen relationships with suppliers across the world.
For those looking for something more substantial, the cafe serves hot meals, with a large proportion of menu items sourced from the M&S food range, ensuring great quality ingredients. The cafe also sells delicious freshly baked goods from the adjacent bakery, which remains open.
A coffee loyalty card scheme rewards regular customers by offering them a tenth cup of coffee for free.
The cafe has been designed to meet the UK M&S in-store decor standards and features special touches such as chairs that have been sourced from Italy.
“The DFC cafe is the perfect place to re-energise, whether you’ve only five minutes to enjoy a Fairtrade cuppa, made by our specially trained baristas, or have time to tuck into some freshly baked treats or great-quality M&S food,” said Zainab Al Mahry, Regional Marketing Manager for Marks & Spencer Al-Futtaim.
