• Registration Of Dubai Land Department Tenancy Contracts At Post Offices

    Dubai Land Department and Emirates Post join hands to offer convenience to public

    The registration of residential and commercial tenancy contracts of Dubai Land Department can now be done at selected post offices by paying AED 195 per transaction, following an agreement signed between Dubai Land Department and Emirates Post Group.

    The agreement was signed by Mr. Ibrahim Bin Karam Chief Commercial Officer, Emirates Post Group, and Mr. Sultan Butti Bin Mejren, Director General of Land Department in Dubai, in the presence of top officials from both organisations.

    “We are delighted to partner with Dubai Land Department to offer this important service through our post office counters. This represents yet another important addition to our bouquet of government services,” said Ibrahim Bin Karam, Chief Commercial Officer, Emirates Post Group. “Our customer service agents have been well trained to handle all queries and offer high levels of service.”

    “The Land Department is pleased to offer registration of tenancy contracts at post offices for the convenience of our tenants,” said Sultan Butti Bin Mejren. “We give highest priority to customer satisfaction and this agreement is yet another step in our pursuit of easing the lives of our tenants through new registration channels. We are sure this move will enable customers to complete their transactions with speed and efficiency, without the need of going to real estate agents. We urge customers to make use of the postal network to register their tenancy contracts.”

    Khalifa Al Suwaidi, CEO of Emirates Real Estate Solutions, technical arm of Dubai Land Department, said the registration facility is available at the following post offices: Dubai Central Post Office in Karama, Jumeirah Post Office, Al Riqqa Post Office, Hor Al Anz Post Office and Al Rashidiya Post Office.

    The Registration Process includes fill up an application form online or at the selected post office, and present the following documents to the customer service agent for scanning: photo copy of tenancy contract, DEWA Bill (Dubai Electricity & Water Authority), passport photocopy with page visa for non UAE nationals and a photocopy of Trade License (for corporates) and transaction fee.
