Meydan Group Announces Collaboration With Ibiza Superbrand Cafe Del Mar
Meydan Group has announced a major new partnership with legendary chill out lounge Café del Mar, set to open its doors at Meydan Beach with a grand launch party 14 and 15 December 2012.
The world renowned establishment of Café del Mar is recognised across the globe for its signature Balearic house music and laid-back atmosphere. The iconic brand originated in Ibiza in 1980 with the simple idea of putting chilled out music to stunning sunsets, introducing the genre of chill out to the world and the eclectic ambient style of music has since become a global success.

Café del Mar’s alfresco beachside lounge at Meydan Beach boasts idyllic surroundings with the backdrop of the Arabian Gulf providing the breathtaking iconic sunsets associated with Café del Mar. Guests can kick back and enjoy the chilled out vibe with signature cocktails and delectable dishes from the Café del Mar menu, in association with Meydan Beach’s signature restaurant Giannino.

Café Del Mar provided the music for Meydan Beach’s UAE National Day Weekend, featured special appearances by international act Paris House Addict, legendary ’fashion DJ’ Pierre Ravan, opera singer Nellie Petrova and violinist Anna Pavlova, giving guests a taste of the eclectic experiences to come.
Café Del Mar at Meydan Beach is open every evening from 4.00pm until 1.00am, with a schedule of events to be announced soon.
