In Its 20th Meeting DSCE Discusses The Strategy Of Reducing CO2 Emissions
HH Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Supreme Council of Energy for Dubai (DSCE) has chaired the 20th meeting held at the Council’s headquarters at Dubai Petroleum Establishment. The meeting was attended by HE Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, Vice Chairman of the Council, Ahmed Butti Al Muhairabi, Secretary General of the Council, and other members of the Council. The meeting discussed matters related to energy and gas efficiency, energy sustainability, Dubai Integrated Energy Strategy 2030, energy conservation, demand-side management, renewable energy, and water quality standards.
"In support of Dubai Integrated Energy Strategy 2030, the Supreme Council of Energy has reviewed the roadmap of the Dubai Integrated Gas Strategy 2030 regarding the policy on strategic gas reserves. Also, there were discussions on the latest developments in the field of energy consumption and conservation. The members were briefed about the energy executive plan in Dubai for the next three years, as the Council seeks to achieve the initiative of energy demand-management to reach a demand reduction of 30% by 2030 and subsequently make a great reduction in carbon emissions,"
