Ace Hardware International Exhibition Showcases Region’s Best Hardware Practices And Expertise
The leading hardware brand in the region, ACE Hardware International, hosts a strong contingent of industry experts at a privately held three day roadshow in Ritz Carlton DIFC from 10-12 of December 2012. Hardware industry experts from the MENA region & the United States participated in this landmark roadshow.
The three-day roadshow featured several key presenters and a cutting-edge workshop on best retail practices presented by industry guru Art Freedman. The purpose of the workshop is to further enhance the retail experience across all Ace Hardware International store formats in the regional markets. Additionally, more than 20 multinational vendors from the region attended to showcase new product offerings and trends to Ace Retailers.

Ace Hardware International, known for its extensive range of DIY, home maintenance, outdoor lifestyle and paint products, recently opened its MENA headquarters at Dubai Airport Free Zone. This marks an important milestone in the brand’s regional expansion. Ace Hardware International is present in six MENA markets today and over the next five years, the retailer expansion plan for the region includes projected operations in Egypt, Bahrain, Qatar, Oman, Lebanon, Morocco, Afghanistan and Cyprus.
Mokbel said, “Ace is planning to expand across the MENA region and continuously investigates the introduction of new categories and services to further strengthen its position as a ’one store many lifestyles’ retailer. The three-day roadshow entails launching of several ACE private labels, new categories and establishment of the regional vendors in Dubai is in line with this growth strategy.”
