Atlantis, The Palm is offering party goers, food lovers, families and marine enthusiasts an unprecedented range of experiences this year throughout the iconic resort. Christmas and New Year’s is the perfect time to enjoy a stay, with enticing room rates and special offers are available in the resort’s 20 restaurants, bars and clubs. Residents can also pop in to the Christmas Shoppe to purchase authentic traditional treats. Children are the centre of Christmas cheer, with Club Rush and Kids Club offering festive activities for teens and children. Additionally, the resort’s marine activities are now available as gift vouchers, making the perfect gift. The resort closes the year with another incredible line up at Sandance music festival and a spectacular New Year’s Eve Gala Dinner experience, both accompanied by impressive fireworks display.

For a memorable Christmas Eve and Christmas Day celebrations with family and friends, consider an Atlantis gourmet dining experience. Value-packed set menus are available at most of the resort’s 20 restaurants. This includes fine dining at Nobu, Ronda Locatelli and Rostang, as well as an incredible underwater dining experience, Ossiano. Also offering set menus are the award-winning Seafire steakhouse, the spectacular Nasimi Beach, family favourite Kaleidoscope, and Time Out’s Best Brunch 2012 winner Saffron. “We have ensured our restaurants are offering packages that appeal to all types of Christmas celebrations,” commented Serge Zaalof, Managing Director of Atlantis, The Palm. “We’ve had great feedback from guests that our menus bring the best of a traditional Christmas meal, as well as a range of quality gourmet choices. Seafire Christmas Day Brunch will be a sumptuous affair, featuring providore, ‘butcher shop’ and seafood stations, as well as decadent dessert stations, surely to be a hive of activity. On both Christmas and New Year’s Eve Time Out’s ‘Best Brunch’ 2012 award winner turns on an incredible festive feast, with cuisines from every continent. From the Ice Bar with its freshly shucked and peeled seafood to the Hawker Noodle station, ice cream teppanyaki counter and crepery, Saffron’s winning elements remain. The Atlantis Christmas Shoppe will continue to excite visitors to the resort last year, with its walls entirely made of gingerbread. This year the team has added more innovative elements and scrumptious treats. “The Christmas Shoppe will be even better and more sublime. It will continue to delight visitors as a White Christmas Wonderland and offering authentic treats from home. A range of festive activities are available for children and teens. Atlantis Kids Club offers the Elf Tuck-In experience for children of all ages staying in the resort. Santa will be appear throughout Atlantis’ restaurants and Kids Club, and he has also made time for photo opportunities in his sleigh in Poseidon’s court. Those who wish to ring in the New Year with thousands of revellers and top international artists can attend our Sandance music festival at one end of the resort, whilst at the Gala Dinner, we offer an elegant outdoor dining experience for families, with live entertainment and an exceptional view of the fireworks. Others prefer taking up one of the sumptuous all inclusive dining packages at our restaurants, offering exceptional value.”
Those attending the New Year’s Gala Dinner will be treated to a feast under the stars. Starting with canapés and apertifs on arrival, guests will enjoy an incredible selection of gourmet live cooking stations and culinary treats from across the globe. Highlights include the caviar station, serving delectable tasters and terrines; Atlantis Lobster and Alaskan King Crab at the seafood raw bar; spicy gazpacho shooter with Fin de Claire oysters at the tapas bar; slow braised leg of veal and classic roasted meats at the carving stations; and desserts to delight young and old, such as the Gummy Bear counter, warm French chocolate extravaganza, and sweet fritter and ice cream stations.
Atlantis restaurants are not to be outdone, providing ‘Gold’, ‘Silver’ and ‘Bronze’ set menu packages to choose from. Stand out dishes include King crab leg tempura with caviar, eel and passion fruit dressing at Nobu, whilst champagne jelly and soulard Foie Gras brulee catches the eye at Ossiano. Rostang keeps to French tradition, but with a twist, offering an amuse bouche station and Gillardeau oysters with citrus caviar or queen scallops ceviche style, alongside French favourites sauteed snails in puff pastry and garlic cream.
Nasimi Beach not only provides incredible views over The Palm and fireworks, but delicious gourmet fare such as wagyu beef strip loin with baked potato mousseline and oxtail ravioli. Levantine is the Arabic entertainment and gourmet hub of Atlantis, featuring standout cold and hot mezzeh selections such as grilled Omani lobster brushed with saffron and Sage butter, grilled king prawns with crushed purple potatoes, shisu cress and mixed mouajanat with lamb sambousek.
