KidZania Encourages Children To Reflect On Future And Celebrate End Of The Year
KidZania®, the award-winning children’s ‘edutainment’ destination in The Dubai Mall managed by Emaar Retail LLC, is marking the end of the year by encouraging children to reflect on their future aspirations and make a wish for a better tomorrow with ‘Sharing Wishes,’ until January 2, 2013.
The ‘Sharing Wishes’ festivities will celebrate every child’s inner light and invite them to make a wish for a better world, thus beginning a journey of reflection, gratitude and sharing. The children’s mini-city will have a ‘Share-O-Meter,’ at the Central Plaza, where little ones can deposit their wishes, symbolising the children’s wishes for the future.
Ric Fearnett, Mayor, KidZania® Dubai said: “Our mission at KidZania® is to inspire kids to think beyond today and also work towards a better tomorrow. Whether it be exploring careers that help them build their innate talent, or partner in ways to promote global harmony, we work to spark ideas in them and ignite action as reflected in the Sharing Wishes initiative. During this holiday season we are encouraging kids to share their wishes for a better world with kids across the globe.”
KidZania® will be decorated with festive lights and host a number of activities including baking festive sweets at the Culinary School, adding stars and glitter to hair and nails at the Beauty Salon, sharing festive postcards around the city and lighting wishing stars on the festive tree.
For the occasion, a special Festive Family Package will be available offering families who purchase two adult and two child entry tickets, wherein the value of one adult ticket, AED 95, will be returned in the form of food and shopping vouchers that can be redeemed at KidZania®. For further details, visit www.kidzania.ae or call 04 448 5222.
KidZania® provides a safe, unique and very realistic educational environment that allows kids to do what comes naturally to them: role-playing by mimicking traditionally ‘adult’ activities. It features offices, university, fire station, race track, radio station, pizzeria, hospital, bank, theatre, among others, all scaled down to a smaller, child-friendly size. Children dress up in real-life uniforms and perform realistic professional tasks in a fun and meaningful way.
