The Italian Circus Brings Breathtaking Performances And Funny Shows To DSF 2013
Gymnastics, jugglery, acrobatics and more will highlight the Italian Circus from January 10 to February 3 at the Festival Promenade in Dubai Festival City, as part of the entertainment activities of the Dubai Shopping Festival 2013.
With two daily shows, at 6pm and 9pm every day, visitors and residents are in for a great time at an event which will truly live up to the DSF 2013’s motto of presenting “Dubai at its Best”. A huge tent has already been put up at the venue, with this “big top” making the area take on the appearance of a traditional circus ground. And traditional performances are what circus-goers can expect, with clowns and contortionists making up an ensemble of performers of professional excellence.
The range of performances will encompass a variety of genres, such as tightrope walkers, balance tricks on bicycles and unicycles, trapeze artists, gymnasts and acrobats, and a novelty - performers imitating the calls and movements of birds and animals. The best part will be the funny shows put up by the clowns, which will add much laughter, mirth and joy to the event and have the audience, especially children, in splits.
Apart from the display of fitness, athleticism, physical skill and flexibility, there will also be tricks and optical illusions for the audience to enjoy, as expert performers bring the best of Italian circus tradition and innovation to Dubai.
With two daily shows for 25 consecutive days, making for a total of 50 shows, circus lovers will have no excuse to miss out on an event that promises to be an outstanding act of DSF 2013, with its location at the Festival Promenade – one of the main destinations of the festival – adding to its charm. Tickets are priced from AED 50 onwards, and will be available at the circus tent’s main entrance itself.
