TRA Holds A Three-Day Judicial Officer Training
TRA staff undergo specific training program to handle violations in Telecommunications Sector
The Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA) held a ‘Judicial Officer Provisions Training Program’ this week in Abu Dhabi. The Spectrum Management Affairs Team, in addition to a number of departments in the TRA, participated in the three day course focusing on methods preparing staff to handle a range of telecommunications violations.
“These training courses are fundamental as they enhance our employee’s judicial skills and knowledge in law. This in turn, enhances the TRA’s overall ability as regulator to handle violations and telecommunication crimes within the UAE with greater efficacy,” said HE Mohamed Nasser Al Ghanim, Director General of TRA.
Dr. Hassan Al Hammadi, lecturer at the Institute of Training and Judicial Studies conducted the program, one of the many activities organized by the TRA in collaboration with other institutions and UAE government entities.
The TRA praised the role played by the Institute of Training and Judicial Studies in providing the necessary judicial officers training to government employees. Based upon request of governmental entities and by virtue of a resolution made by the minister of justice, judicial officers in the UAE are entitled to handle violations committed within their departments and in relation to their jobs.
