From Ireland To Australia, With Love
Two Dungannon cyclists, Paul Quinn and Aidan Murphy, left Ireland on September 1 for a 7-month journey that would take them to Australia on a challenge to raise money for charity.
The 60-mile cycling challenge started from Dublin City Center back in early September. Then to Rosslare and the ferry to Cherbourg, France where a non-stop journey saw the two young cyclists cross France, Italy, Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia, Serbia, Bulgaria, Greece, Turkey and Iran. Another ferry ride to reach Dubai where they have spent Christmas at The Irish Village, where they were hosted and received a donation from Dubai Duty Free.
