Al Tayer Honours Winners Of RTA Talents Contest

The Roads & Transport Authority (RTA) has drawn the curtain on the first edition of RTA Talents Contest; the first of its kind at the level of government entities aimed at showcasing individual and collective talents of employees in various disciplines.
The closing ceremony of the Contest, which was held in Al Wasl Auditorium, RTA premises, was attended by H.E. Mattar Al Tayer, Chairman of the Board and Executive Director of the RTA, as well as the Emirati dramatist Dr. Habeeb Ghuloom, poet Ali Al-Khawaar, and the plastic artist Dr. Najat Makki, in addition to a host of CEOs & employees of the RTA.
The Contest, which drew the participation of about 55 male & female employees, comprised four stages starting from interviews where 29 competitors took part, and the second stage saw competitions between 26 contestants, followed by the qualifier stage to which 17 employees were qualified, and the closing ceremony witnessed heated contests between 7 employees vying for the first three positions. Talents competing for the accolades included poems, drawings, songs, recitations, plays and sports commentary.
