Dubai Supreme Council Of Energy Opens Online Registration For Dubai Global Energy Forum
The Dubai Supreme Council of Energy (DSCE) announced the opening of online registration for delegates and visitors for the Dubai Global Energy Forum (DGEF) 2013 on the Forum’s website www.dgef.ae.
The Forum will be held under the patronage of HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, from 15-17 April 2013 at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Center (DICEC) under the theme ’Clean Energy for Sustainable Development’.
"The Forum is in line with the long-term national initiative ’Green Economy for Sustainable Development’ launched by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and in accordance with the Dubai Integrated Energy Strategy 2030 which aims to reduce demand for energy by 30% in 2030. DGEF 2013 aims to provide innovative solutions for diversifying energy resources and increasing reliability and efficiency of renewable and clean energy. We aim to meet the growing demand for energy while preserving natural resources and protecting the environment," said HE Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, Vice Chairman of DSCE.
DGEF 2013 is a unique platform for leaders, decision makers, and energy experts to exchange knowledge and ideas about the regional and global policies, trends and potential opportunities in the fields of clean energy and sustainability.
The Forum will be attended by government officials, VIPs, decision makers, CEOs of leading companies, and scientists, researchers, and analysts from all over the world, to discuss clean and alternative energy resources, peaceful use of nuclear energy, current and future policies, investments opportunities, and market indicators.
DGEF 2013’s agenda will discuss effective policies, available opportunities in the energy sector and the future vision for renewable and alternative energy resources.
It will also focus on solving various issues through in-depth sessions and dialogue. Delegates will have the opportunity to learn more about the energy sector through informative detailed lectures, and will be able to participate and share their opinions.
