Filipino National Wins US$1 Million In The Dubai Duty Free Millennium Millionaire Promotion
The draw for Dubai Duty Free’s 139th Millennium Millionaire took place today (Tuesday) at Dubai International Airport producing the promotion’s 139th US$1 million winner, a thirty-two-year old Filipino national, Eric Mayo Glinofria.
The winning ticket no. 2732 was drawn by Colm McLoughlin, Executive Vice Chairman of Dubai Duty Free, Salah Tahlak, Senior Vice President – Corporate Communications, Ramesh Cidambi, Senior Vice President - IT & Logistics, Sinead El Sibai, Vice President – Marketing and Nic Bruwer, Vice President – Human Resources.
Obviously thrilled with his luck, Mr. Glinofria, the lucky dollar millionaire commented: ‘It is indeed a huge and pleasant surprise for me and my family. This is my first ever ticket in Dubai Duty Free Millennium Millionaire promotion and the first ever biggest win in my life!’
Eric Mayo Glinorfria is only the third Filipino national to win US$1 million in the Dubai Duty Free Millennium Millionaire. To date, Dubai Duty free created one hundred and thirty nine dollar millionaires from 27 countries.
The Finest Surprise draw was held directly after the Millennium Millionaire announcing Mr. Oguama Ndubuisi, a Nigerian national the winner of a silver BMW 750Li Executive in Series 1516 with ticket no. 0962.
Another winner who will be equally delighted with the prize is Mr. Melwyn Renjal, an Indian national living in Dubai. Mr. Renjal won a Ducati Superbike 848 EVO (Dark Stealth) in Dubai Duty Free Finest Surprise Promotion with ticket no. 0995 in Series no. 206.
