Budget Rent-A-Car Inducts Latest Cadillacs To Cater To Growing Luxury Segment

Introduction of Cadillacs and Chevrolet Camaros aimed at raising Budget’s luxury component to 25%

Budget Rent-A-Car, a leading player in the UAE car rental business for over 30 years, has added the latest range of Cadillacs to its fleet to meet the rising demand for renting and leasing of luxury vehicles.

Budget recently took delivery of the first batch of the all-new 2013 models of Cadillac XTS and Cadillac ATS from Liberty Automobiles Company. Salim Damji, Senior General Manager, Budget UAE, received the keys to the new Cadillacs from Rajesh Krishnan, Senior General Manager-Sales & Marketing, Liberty Automobiles. The presentation was also attended by Abdalla Madhoun, Regional Fleet Manager, General Motors Middle East.

“Budget has seen a discernible spurt in demand for luxury vehicles in recent months. In response to this trend, we have chosen to induct these new-age Cadillacs that have become a rage among luxury car customers today,” said Damji.

“The current lot is fully booked. We plan to add more Cadillacs in the course of the year and expect the luxury segment to grow to 25 per cent of our total fleet. In a parallel development, we have created a new group for sports car lovers by introducing the stunning Chevrolet Camaro sports vehicles into our fleet,” Damji added.

The 2013 models of Cadillac XTS and Cadillac ATS come with industry-leading features, including the exclusive CUE infotainment system with an 8-inch LCD multi-touch screen that integrates entertainment and information data and the ‘control and alert’ system that employs radar, cameras and ultrasonic sensors to help prevent crashes.

The new Cadillacs are available for daily, weekly and monthly rentals as well as for leasing for a period of 1 year to 4 years.

“The car rental sector in the UAE is on the upswing, boosted by positive economic indicators and increased inflow of tourists,” said Damji. “After a healthy movement in 2012, Budget anticipates further robust growth in 2013, particularly considering that the bulk of our daily rental business comes from tourists. The induction of the luxury Cadillacs and sporty Chevrolet Camaros will give our high-end customers a superior and value-for-money experience.”
