Gargash: Ministry Of FNCA Aims To Achieve Organizational Excellence Through Continuous Improvement Of Services

Leadership meetingof third quarterdiscussesresults of performance indicators for the first half of Strategic and Operational Plan of 2013

The senior leadership team of the Ministry of State for Federal National Council Affairs discussed in its third quarter meeting the results of the performance indicators for the first half of the Strategic and Operational Plan of this year as well as the excellence standard of the Ministry’s leadership.

The meeting, chaired by H.E. Dr. Anwar Mohammed Gargash, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs and Minister of State for Federal National Council Affairs, also discussed the performance reports and the Strategic Plan for 2014-2016,and made recommendationsfor appropriate actions, including achieving the highest quality standards.

“The instructionsof His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, and his brother, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, for improving work mechanisms and achieving the electronic transformation are the first priorities of the Ministry,”H.E. Dr. Gargash said.

During the meeting, H.E. Dr.Gargash asserted the importance of continuous efforts to improve the strategic plans in order to achieve the Ministry’s vision. Praising the team work undertaken in the Ministry, H.E. Dr. Gargash said, “We should put in extra efforts to achieve excellence in all areas, and enhance the innovation culture among the employees through the best professional practices, applying the best work methods.”

H.E. TariqHilal Lootah, Undersecretary of the Ministry of State for Federal National Council Affairs, said, “This meeting offereda unique opportunity to improve communication between the Ministry’s staff, leading to a clearer vision about the work involved in achieving the Ministry’s strategic goals.” H.E. Lootah added that as a result the Ministry had successfully achieved excellence in several areas of activity and received a number of awards.” The meeting was also attended by H.E. Dr. Saeed Al Ghafli, Assistant Undersecretary for Federal National Council Affairs, and His Excellency Sami Bin Adi, Assistant Undersecretary for the SupportServices Sector, and Mr. Khalid Al Qusymi,Director of Strategic Planning and Performance.

Apart from the results of the Ministry’s performance indicators, the meeting highlighted its work plan, including the comprehensive executive plan for excellence implementations, the Ministry’s projects and the electronic gate system (MFNCA Portal) which has been developed internally to support the electronic transformation of Ministry’s services.
