The Ministry of Interior Participates in Opening the Milipol Paris Exhibition

A high delegation representing the Ministry of Interior participated in the opening of the newly held Milipol Exhibition in Paris, France. Major General Staff Dr. Obeid Al Kutbi, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Abu Dhabi Police, headed the delegation that included Major General Humaid Mohammed Al Hadidi, Commander in-chief of the Sharjah Police; Major General Ahmed Nasser Al Raisi, Director General of Central Operations at Abu Dhabi Police; Brigadier Saeed Salim Al Henki, Director General of Finance & Support Services at the Ministry of Interior and Chairman of the Organizing Scientific Committee of (ISNR) Conference; and a number of officers.

Major General Staff Al Kutbi met with Claude Pala, Director General of General Security and Commander-in-Chief of France’s Police. During the meeting, they studied different aspects of cooperation in topics of common interest and the ways to foster them. Major General Staff Al Kutbi invited Manuel Valls, the Minister of the Interior of the French government, to attend the events of the International Conference for Security and National Resilience “ISNR 2014” in Abu Dhabi.

Major General Staff Al Kutbi and the accompanying delegation visited the exhibition’s pavilions including the pavilion of the French Ministry of Interior and some of the most renowned international companies in the internal security industry. They also viewed cutting-edge technologies.

He also met Emile Perez Director Inspector General of the International Cooperation Department of the Ministry of the Interior of France. They exchanged their experiences and discussed mutual cooperation and training. Al Kutbi was also introduced to the essential activities on the field and the role French companies have in supporting police work. He also presented and received commemorative shields and souvenirs to Michael Weatherseed, Exhibition Director of Milipol Paris.

On the sidelines of Milipol Paris, the marketing team of “ISNR 2014” exhibition met with a number of companies that expressed their interest in participating in the exhibition and reserving pavilions at the exhibition in Abu Dhabi. The marketing team included Brigadier Al Henki as the head of the team, and team members Lt. Colonel Jasem Al Aantali and Captain Khalifa Al Obaidly.
