Musanada Increases Number Of Government Buildings And Profits During 2013
The number of government buildings, which are supervised by Abu Dhabi General Services company “Musanada”, increased by 16% over the last two years, 2012 and 2013. Musanada received 600 government buildings, bringing the total number of government buildings that are supervised by Musanada to 3300 in various service sectors, such as health, education, mosques, and other buildings. Musanada took full responsibility for the maintenance, rehabilitation, cleanliness, janitorial services and agriculture for a number of them.
Musanada handles 3300 buildings in Abu Dhabi, Al Ain and the Western Region. They provide comprehensive services including maintenance, hygiene, agriculture, and others to 2500 buildings. They additionally offer concierge services and hospitality to 2000 government buildings.
Musanada supervises government buildings in terms of rehabilitation, maintenance, agriculture, and hospitality. Increased business is expected in the rate of growth in government buildings, which will increase Musanada’s supervision by 30% during the current year of 2014.
Musanada’s Executive Director of the business services sector, Mr. Saif Fadel Hamli, is keen to provide high quality services to all government department of the Government of Abu Dhabi, in accordance with the highest international standards, using this latest technology, and including conformity with international best practices.
He said that the total amount disbursed during the year 2013 on rehabilitation work, maintenance of the buildings and agriculture, which are supervised by government support, reached AED 667 million, an increase of 1.71 million dirhams for the year 2012, which reached 496 million dirhams.
He added that spending on work orders increased value of AED 197 million, an increase of 37% over 2013, and the percentage of work orders increased 16%, as issued by the facilities management in 3642 is to support the work during the year 2013.
For his part, Engineer Hilal Al Balushi director of facilities management at Abu Dhabi General Services Musanada, stated that it was comprehensive maintenance and major government buildings supervised by Musanada worth AED39 million in 2012 and increased the amount to AED67 million in 2013.
He added that the maintenance program Summer Schools of the Abu Dhabi Education Council included the maintenance of 34 schools in 2012, and the number rose to 64 schools in 2013, in Abu Dhabi, Al Ain and the Western Region, as well as for maintenance and cleanliness of all the mosques in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, and braved the 2151 mosque, which is done in cooperation with the General Authority for Islamic Affairs and Endowments, through an integrated system designed primarily for the design and delivery of shared services, managed in accordance with the highest international standards and provided efficient solutions and quality.
