Family Adventures Take Over Burjuman This DSF

Ninja Turtles, Circus Canada and Teletubbies - all set to debut in the Middle East with their action-packed performances at BurJuman

As the 19th edition of the Dubai Shopping Festival dawns upon the city, BurJuman invites visitors from around the world to enjoy the premier performances of popular cartoon shows Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Teletubbies and the Circus Canada troupe that brings with it the magic of the internationally renowned Cirque du Soleil. The DSF season will come alive at BurJuman as spectacular parades march through the mall to launch each of three shows for the first time in the Middle East.

From January 2nd to February 2nd 2014, families on a spree at the mall can start crossing off items on their shopping lists with irresistible DSF sales that are up for grabs at several retail outlets at BurJuman. Additionally, fashionistas planning on revamping their wardrobes can stock up on plenty of designer threads, by indulging in guiltless shopping during DSF’s 32-days of celebrations.

Embracing this year’s DSF theme, “Shop At Your Best”, BurJuman will also delight its shoppers with a chance to win 2 BMW cars (5-Series and a 7-Series) by spending just AED 200 at the mall.

Taking on the stage at mall on the very first day of the DSF are the popular multi-colored Teletubbies: Tinky Winky, Dipsy, Laa-Laa and Po. All the kids in the audience can look forward to a lot of fun and frolic with their beloved cartoon buddies starting January 2nd until January 11th, 2014 (excluding January 7), during their three 20-minute shows at 5 pm, 6:45 pm and 8:30 pm every day. Young fans also get a chance to mingle with the Teletubbies during an interactive meet and greet session after the show.

From January 9th to January 18th, 2014, Ninja Turtle fans get an awesome chance to catch up with their coolest and greenest superheroes in an interactive stage show. The green-fighting machines namely Leonardo, Raphael, Michelangelo and Donatello, will impress the audience with their weaponry skills and humor. Kids can get in on all the action with the superheroes at BurJuman during three daily shows at 6:15 pm, 7:45 pm and 9:15 pm. The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles will also be available for a 10-minute meet and greet session after their power-packed performances.

With its promise to deliver an unforgettable shopping experience for the entire family, BurJuman will also be home to a spectacular Circus Canada troupe that comes to Dubai from a country famed for its modern day cirque arts. Embracing the style and quality of the renowned Cirque du Soleil, the show will feature the best circus performers in the world. From slapstick performances by costumed clowns, to stunning acts by contortionists, acrobats, jugglers and an amazing ring master – the entire cast donned in contemporary costumes and attractive makeup will drive the imaginations of the audience to unbelievable heights. The show will be held at BurJuman from January 243rd until February 1st, 2014 twice every day. Families can also get up close and personal with the international artists during an interactive session after every show.
