ADP: Graduation For 9 Specialized Courses At Ports Security Institute
The Ports Security Institute at the Ports and Airports Security Department at Abu Dhabi Police celebrated the graduation of nine specialized courses. The courses, which were held at the institute, lasted for one week, and were attended by 192 participants.
Colonel Matar Ahmed Mohammed Al Muhairi, Head of the Institute, said that training of police officers represents Abu Dhabi Police’s strategy of increasing the efficiency of its personnel and enhancing their capabilities in accordance with the best international practices and standards.
He noted that the courses included training in the various fields of police sciences, and focused on training officers on methods of detection and inspection using computer-based simulation training (CBT), improving their English-language skills and increasing their confidence when speaking the language, and learning about the multiple methods and means for air cargo security, etc.
He added that the participants received scientific training and practical application courses for their specific fields of work in order to enhance the quality of services and develop their performance to establish the vision of Abu Dhabi Police and ensure that the emirate of Abu Dhabi continues to live with security and safety by providing high-quality police services to the citizens, residents and visitors of the emirate.
Al Muhairi distributed certificates to the graduates, and encouraged them to work with loyalty and dedication to serve their country, and to protect the oasis of safety and stability in our beloved homeland.
