The Urban Environment Conference Expects To Attract Wide Audience And High Profile Experts At Its 3rd Session
Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Humaid Bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Ajman, the Municipality and Planning Department of Ajman, is hosting Ajman International Environment Conference at its third session under the title "Urban Environment for Sustainable Development", with the participation from Internationally known experts from across the world and also local specialists in the field of environment, water and energy.
With its expectation to attract 100 exhibiting companies and 1000 visitors from across the world, the conference will be held on the 7th and 8th of April 2014 for two days in the Sheikh Zayed Centre for Conferences and Exhibitions, Ajman University of Science and Technology in the city of Ajman.
The 3rd conference expects to embrace local and international experts of scientists, researchers, engineers and decision makers in one station to exchange information, present new technologies and developments, and discuss the most prominent achievements, the latest innovations that will enhance the environmental security and the best technology required to support in the environmental solutions, water and energy which would anticipate to promote a sustainable development in the United Arab Emirates in general and the Emirate of Ajman in particular. Based on a common view, this development should meet the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs, and strengthen itself with renewable energy sources.
In addition, the event will be focusing on 4 major topics where the specialists will present their findings on renewable energy technology, innovative solutions for future buildings and sustainable transport, amongst other topics. Visitors can attend dedicated sessions and workshops based on their individual preferences.
On his behalf, Engineer Khalid Moeen Al Hosni, Executive Director of Public Health and Environment, declares: "The conference is a big achievement for Ajman and the UAE and this is based on the directives of His Highness Sheikh Rashid Bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, the President of the Department and the follow up by the Director General of the Department, Mr. Yehia Ibrahim Al Reyaysa".
