New Samsung Galaxy S5 To Be Offered Exclusively To Etisalat Customers

Etisalat, the UAE’s leading telecom provider, is offering its customers the latest Samsung Galaxy S5 in ‘Charcoal Black,’ and exclusively in ‘Shimmery White’.

The telecom major is offering the device for free with up to 10GB data and 300 flexi minutes. The flexible minutes can be used for local, international and incoming roaming calls.In addition, Etisalatis also offering the‘Charcoal Black’model and later, the Electric Blue’ and ‘Copper Gold’ models.

Customers can choose from a range of options, all with such advantages as per second billing and add-ons, which are designed to suit different requirements.

For post-paid customers there are three plans available.

The device is free on an 18-month contractplan for AED250 with 1GB data and 100 flexi minutes or for AED400 per month with 10GB data and 300 minutes. Alternatively,users can get an AED500 upfront discount on the cost of the device on a 12-month package. The discounted prices of the32GB and 16GB models are AED2,399 and AED2,199 respectively for a monthly rental cost of AED250, and each comes with 10GB data and 300 flexi minutes.

The Samsung Galaxy S5 can also be purchased on prepaid packages. The 32GB packagecosts AED2,899 and the 16GB package costs AED2,699 and both come with 1GB data allowance free for the first month and AED99 per month thereafter. Currently the fastest 4G LTE smartphone on the market, the new Samsung Galaxy S5 can also be enjoyed on the UAE’s fastest network and includes several notable departures from its S4 predecessor. Its features include a 16MP HDR camera, S Health and built-in heart rate sensor, fifth generation multi-input multi-output (MIMO) WiFi as well as water and dust resistance.

The Samsung Galaxy S5 device can also be complemented with wearablessuch as the Gear Fit and Gear 2, which cost AED799 and AED1199 respectively. As the world’s first curved Super AMOLED wearable device, the Samsung Gear Fit features a 1.84-inch touch screen, changeable straps and instant notifications for incoming call, emails and texts.The newly-unveiled Gear 2 meanwhile comes with a 2MP camera, personal fitness coaching in real time, a standalone music player and WatchOn Remote app for controlling TV.

The unique offers are in line with Etisalat’s recent strategy of offering attractive packages for smartphone users. Customers will also be able to take advantage of Etisalat’s 4G LTE network, which covers 85per cent of the inhabited area of the country and allows users of 4G phones to connect to the internet at speeds up to 150 Mbps.
