Kuwaiti MOI Delegation Reviews Abu Dhabi Police Forensic Evidence Capabilities
A delegation from the Kuwait Ministry of Interior reviewed the capacities of Forensic Evidence Department at Abu Dhabi Police. The delegation also examined the laboratory testing methods that are adopted to uncover crimes by modern scientific technologies.
During his meeting with the delegation at his office, Colonel Abdul Rahman Al Hammadi, Head of the Forensic Evidence Department asserted the Abu Dhabi Police commitment to providing all of its resources to counter crime. He also explained that the Police rely on modern scientific equipment and advanced technologies, in addition to a scientifically and technically qualified human element.
Colonel Al Hammadi also indicated that the Forensic Evidence Department is continuously working on utilizing the most modern forensic sciences, and activating the mutual technical and scientific cooperation with scientific institutions and international entities to fulfill the Abu Dhabi Police strategy regarding forensic laboratories.
The Kuwaiti delegation was introduced to the current scientific capabilities, during a tour in some of the laboratories. The delegation was also briefed about the methods of handling some cases, and the means of unfolding its mysteries depending on scientific examination methods. Colonel Anwar Mahmoud Al Awadi, Head of the Chemical Analysis Section explained the examination methods. For their part, the Kuwaiti delegation members praised the notable development of Abu Dhabi Police generally, and the Forensic Evidence Department specifically. They also expressed their aspiration to further cooperation on all technical fields with the Forensic Evidence Department at Abu Dhabi Police.
It is worth mentioning that that Kuwaiti delegation included Jassim Abdul Karim Al Mansouri, Head of Narcotics and Psychotropic Drugs at the Kuwait Ministry of Interior, and both Mohammed Jawad Al Amer and Haydar Ali Bu Jbara, specialists at the Medical Laboratory.
