Ajman And Fujairah Urged To 'Go Red For Women'
Women are urged to visit City Centre malls this week and fight cardiovascular diseases - the leading cause of death amongst women, as Majid Al Futtaim rolls out its largest healthcare campaign in Fujairah and Ajman. In partnership with the UAE Ministry of Health and City Centre Clinic, medical practitioners will hit the road to perform heart health tests in the Northern Emirates for two full days (10am-7pm) on May 28th at City Centre Fujairah, followed by City Centre Ajman on May 30th and 31st.
Last weekend, City Centre Sharjah accommodated 590 women who got tested, in addition to 1,676 who took control of their hearts in Dubai the previous weeks. ‘Go Red for Women’ is a global initiative by the American Heart Association and brought to the Middle East by Majid Al Futtaim to raise awareness on the number killer of women worldwide. The campaign is supported by 30 countries including UAE, Bahrain, Egypt, Lebanon and Oman through Majid Al Futtaim’s 13 shopping malls in the region and local Government agencies.
