Iranian earthquake felt in parts of UAE
An earthquake in southern Iran, reported to measure 5.5 on the open ended Richter scale, shook parts of the U.A.E. earlier today.
The seismic network of the National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology recorded the earthquake on the island of Qeshem in southern Iran this morning, at 09:44 AM (local time). The quake was felt in parts of Ras Al-Khaimah and was also slightly experienced in other northern parts of the country, including Dubai, but caused no reported impact.
