OSN Marks New Programming Season With 60 Movie Premieres And 20 Exclusive New Series In Spectacular HD
OSN, the leading pay-TV network in the Middle East and North Africa, heralds a brand-new programming season this September with 60 movie premieres and 20 exclusive and award-winning television series. Every day of the week, one much-awaited new series or a new season will mark its premiere in the MENA region only on OSN, at 20.00 KSA, to coincide with its telecast in the US or UK.
Underlining OSN’s appeal as the go-to destination for the newest and most exclusive content in global entertainment, the new programming season will also see the network taking the lead in Arabic content with 10 much-awaited Arabic shows marking their premiere. Viewers can enjoy five Arabic series showing at the top of each hour from 19:00 to 23:00 KSA.
It is an unmatched prime-time on OSN with new Arabic series, the latest television series and blockbuster Hollywood movie premieres at 19:00, 20.00 and 21.00 KSA slots, respectively. All of the new programmes are available in spectacular HD ensuring a captivating home-entertainment experience.

As the exclusive home to HBO shows that have won multiple Emmy laurels this year, OSN is headlining the season with the ‘same time as US airing’ of HBO’s fifth and final season of Boardwalk Empire. Also part of the HBO nights is the new drama, The Leftovers, which narrates the gripping story of the mysterious disappearance of 140 million people. The series, created by Damon Lindelof and Tom Perrotta, based on an eponymous novel by Perrotta, is set in the fictional town outside New York City. Both shows make their season debut on 8th September at 22.00 KSA and 23:00 KSA respectively.
Series fans can also enjoy the medical action drama, The Knick, starring Clive Owen as a 20th century doctor at the Knickerbocker Hospital. The season premiere of the drama, directed by Steven Soderbergh, is telecast on OSN First HD at 22.00 KSA.
A premiere a day awaits fans including the American reality talent show The Voice, which enters its seventh season. This time, veteran coaches Adam Levine and Blake Shelton are joined by Pharrel Williams and Gwen Stefani. Watch this adrenaline packed show only on OSN First HD at 21.00 KSA from 23 September.
The 20:00 KSA line-up on OSN First HD features new shows including the Disney suspense series How to Get Away with Murder and the comic series based action hero series The Flash which will air close to its US airing from 9 October at 20.00 KSA. The popular Grey’s Anatomy Season 11, Season 4 of Revenge, Season 2 of Marvel’s Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D and Season 2 of The Blacklist, also premiere at the primetime 20.00 KSA slot. Viewers can also enjoy Downtown Abbey Season 5 at the same time as its UK airing.
Fans of daytime television can look forward to Season 12 of the Ellen DeGeneres Show as it is screened exclusively on OSN.
On the movie front, there’s plenty to look forward to. The much anticipated Godzilla, which follows the epic rebirth of the iconic creature as he goes head-to-head against malevolent creatures that threaten our very existence. Tune into this blockbuster, staring Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Elizabeth Olsen and Bryan Cranston, from 26 September on OSN Movies Box Office HD. The summer blockbusters X-Men Days of Future Past, Expendables 3, and Dawn of the Planet of the Apes also make their debut on OSN Movies Box Office HD this season.
Arabic films and series are aplenty this month with ten premium shows premiering at the top of each hour from 19.00 to 23.00 KSA. OSN Yahala HD premiers include Season 1 of Black Passion (Al Ishq Al Aswad), the number 1 rated Turkish drama, from 27 September, 21.00 KSA. Based on an original story, the series is about a young and ambitious policeman and a rich girl, whose lives change forever following a murder.
Watch the season 1 premiere of the first Saudi Arabian soap, Autumn Blossoms (Indama Yuzher Al Khareef), at 20.00 KSA on OSN Ya Hala! HD exclusively. Starring Mohammad Haji (Habib), Ghezlan (Noura) and Yamour (Najla), the series is about the tribulations faced by Habib, a man who had been devoted to his family, after being asked to marry Najla, his friend’s daughter. The series airs daily from Saturday to Wednesday.
Season 2 of OSN produced shows El Musameh Kareem, Eyadet hob, Saudi Doctors, and El Boss will also be screened exclusively this September.
