UAQ Ruler approves strategic plan 2014 -2015
H.H. Sheikh Saud bin Rashid Al Mu'alla, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Umm Al Qaiwain, has commended the initiative of Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, aiming at transferring government services to smart services by providing links via mobile phones and Internet enabled devices to customers, in line with the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed to ensure availability of government services and facilitate their access to customers anywhere and anytime.
This commendation came when H.H. Sheikh Saud approved today the strategic plan 2014 - 2015 to shift to smart government, which was prepared by the Department of e-Government in Umm Al Qaiwain.
Sheikh Saud was briefed by the department on the mechanisms of implementing the strategic plan for the transition to smart government and the important procedures that will be implemented in the emirate during the strategic plan's period.
Khalid Sultan Al Shamsi, Director-General of the Department of e-Government in Umm Al Qaiwain, extended his thanks to H.H. Sheikh Saud and H.H. Sheikh Rashid bin Saud bin Rashid Al Mu'alla, Crown Prince of Umm Al Qaiwain and Chairman of the Executive Council, on the continued support provided by Their Highnesses and their endeavours to upgrade and facilitate services provided by local departments, authorities and institutions.
The meeting was attended by a number of Sheikhs and senior officials.
