Dubai Silicon Oasis Pledges Increase In Al Nasr Clubs Sponsorship For Upcoming Season

Dubai Silicon Oasis (DSO), the integrated free zone technology park, hosted a reception for the Al Nasr Club football team to celebrate their spectacular win of the President’s Cup 2015.

The reception held at DSO’s headquarters, witnessed the presence of Dr Mohammed Alzarooni, Vice Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of DSOA and Ahmed Khoury, Vice Chairman of the Al Nasr Club, in addition to a number of officials.

Dr Alzarooni congratulated His Highness Sheikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Minister of Finance and President of Al Nasr Club and His Highness Sheikh Ahmed Bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman of DSOA, Vice Chairman of Al Nasr Club and the rest of the board members and all fans of the team on their triumph in the President’s Cup 2015.

Dr Alzarooni also used the occasion to announce an increase in DSO’s sponsorship of the Al Nasr Club for the upcoming season.

Commenting on this achievement, Dr Alzarooni said: “We are proud sponsors and supporters of Al Nasr Club and on this occasion, we would like to reiterate our commitment to the team to help them reach bigger stages and attain larger championships locally and regionally.”

He added: “We aim to fully support our national football teams in order to further develop their sporting talents and give them the opportunity to represent the country on a regional and global stage where the players will have the chance to showcase themselves and the talent the UAE boasts.”

Dr Alzarooni reaffirmed DSO’s continuous dedication towards sport activities and athletes where the hi-tech park, as part of its CSR Strategy, has designed a number of events around sport.

On his part, Ahmed Khoury said: “I thank DSO for their continuous support and dedication towards the club during the past three years and we appreciate their decision to raise the sponsorship amount for the next season. We are confident that this increase will positively influence the team to achieve more across all the 14 sports that we train for.

“This season, the club has succeeded in capturing 64 championships in nine out of 14 sports. This would not have been possible without the unstinted support of His Highness Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Minister of Finance and President of Al Nasr Club.”
