State-of-the-art studios, internationally-sourced, friendly and knowledgeable staff, the newly opened Dubai Community Theatre & Arts Centre (DUCTAC) is the ultimate resource for creativity in the region. Courses range from painting,drawing and sketching, sculpting, photography and jewellery design. DUCTAC also organises theatre performances monthly.
Event Info: Emirati artist Wasel Safwan hails from the emirate of Al-Ain, and is inspired by the way of life in the UAE, and how we interact with our world. Drawing inspiration from his family, upbringing, and daily routine, he finds the small things, which we often overlook, to be the most important. A regular exhibitor throughout the Emirates, his massive oil paintings are bold, striking, and full of an exuberance and love of life. The exhibition is from 17 May till 31 May 2007.
